Q. How many guests can fit comfortably in the ballroom?

We have hosted weddings ranging from 50 guests up to 200 guests. For the more intimate weddings we are able to utilize the ballroom a little differently.(ie, using one section for cocktail hour and the other two sections as reception space). For a larger wedding, we would utilize the pre-function and boardrooms for cocktail hour and the entire ballroom for reception space. The maximum size for comfort would be 200.

Q. Where do ceremonies take place? What can we do to create an intimate ceremony space?

Depending on the guest count, ceremonies would take place in one or two sections of the ballroom. With the right lighting and backdrop, you can create beautiful sanctuary for your ceremony. We are able to dim the lights and add a few of our screens to create a backdrop. We are also able to recommend a few rental companies if you are looking to rent additional pipe and drape to create a more dramatic look.

Q. How many guests can sit at a table? What type of chairs and linens are included?

Depending on the guest count, we will provide 60" rounds, 72" rounds, or a combination of both. 60" rounds can accommodate 8-10 guests and 72"rounds can accommodate 10-12 guests. Our wedding packages include full length table cloths in white, ivory, chocolate brown, or black and a wide selection of napkin colors. Our standard, beige ballroom chairs are also included in our wedding packages. If you would like to create a unique look for your special day, please ask about other linen and chair options.

Q. What type of overnight accommodations are provided? Do we automatically receive a complimentary hotel room when we book our reception?

When you book your wedding reception with Mazzone Hospitality at the Hilton Garden Inn, Clifton Park, you will receive a complimentary standard room the evening of your wedding. Please confirm this with your event planner if you are interested in reserving additional overnight rooms at the hotel, your event planner can put you in-touch with the Hilton Garden Inn sales team to help you further.

Q. Where is a good place for photos?

If you are looking for outdoor photos, there are a few good spots around the outside of the building against the textured stone walls, under the cinema marquis, and across the street by the pond in front of the shopping plaza. If you are looking for indoor photos, a few key spots are in front of the fireplace in the lobby, the little alcove tucked away by the Library and the hallway leading from the lobby to the ballroom.

Q. What type of parking do you provide, if any?

Parking is self-serviced. Guests will have access to park in any available spot located around the facility. If you are looking to incorporate valet, we certainly can assist with securing their services.

Q. Can I customize a menu or combine packages?

Our wedding menus serve as guidelines. Our culinary team is extremely creative and versatile. We would be happy to customize a package based on your personal taste!

Q. Do your wedding packages include wedding cake?

Our wedding packages include wedding cakes made by our in house bakery, The Mansion Bakery. We have a variety of styles, flavors, & fillings to choose from. If you would like to provide a cake from an outside bakery, you certainly have the option to do so.

Q. Do you offer food tastings?

Once you book your wedding with Mazzone Hospitality, you are invited to join us at one of our Grand Tastings. We will provide two complimentary grand entrance tickets for you & your fiancé. You will be able to see, smell, and taste a selection of what we have to offer. Savor the evening with all of your senses. Ask your event planner for upcoming dates, tastings are held twice a year.

If you prefer a more intimate setting we also offer private tastings. Tastings last approximately one 1 ½ hours and provided at a fee of $500, allowing for up to 4 people to sample a selection of hot hors d'Oeuvres and your choice of two selected appetizers, salads, and entrees. (There are items we are not able to produce for a tasting, and other restrictions may apply, consult your event planner.)
